At the final hearing Mrs Justice Pauffley held that the case should be transferred to Hungary for the following reasons:

  • The child has a particular connection with Hungary;
  • Hungarian Courts are better placed to determine the issues;
  • A transfer of the proceedings would be in the child’s best interests.
