Nicola Peacock

Solicitor

Nicola began her time at the firm in the Mental Health department. She has been a member of the Law Society Mental Health Accreditation Scheme since March 2017 and has continued representing clients at Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers Hearings. She has experience dealing with clients detained under both civil and forensic sections.

During her training contract Nicola gained experience in the family and Court of Protection departments and qualified in November 2018 continuing in these departments. Nicola represents clients in a range of family law matters including, child arrangements orders, non-molestation orders, divorce, and representing parents and family members in care proceedings. Nicola is a member of the Law Society Children Law Accreditation Scheme.

Nicola is regularly instructed by the Official Solicitor to represent vulnerable adults in welfare cases involving deprivation of liberty, care and residence.

Nicola is a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ in the 2023 and the 2024 editions of The Legal 500.

Nicola volunteers at the Central Family Court CAB and in her spare time Nicola is a keen traveller and skier spending time working in Canada.
