Sabrina qualified as a solicitor in 2013. She has also been a member of the Law Society Children’s Accreditation Scheme since 2017.
Sabrina specialises in public law children matters and has an expertise in representing parents, extended family members and children on behalf of the Children’s Guardian within comprehensive care and placement proceedings.
Sabrina has a considerable amount of experience in dealing with cases involving child protection concerns relating to neglect, domestic abuse and substance abuse. She is also proficient in acting for clients in a wide range of cases involving non-accidental injuries of a child, fictitious illness (by proxy), sexual abuse, inappropriate physical chastisement, parental drug and alcohol abuse and where children/ young people have a range of complex mental and physical needs. Sabrina has also worked on a number of reported high profile, public interest cases involving witchcraft, belief systems and where children are thought to be at risk of radicalisation.
Sabrina strives to achieve the best outcome for her clients and aims to help parents have their children returned to their care wherever possible. Sabrina’s cases regularly involve assisting vulnerable clients, where English is not someone’s first language, people of different ethnicities, requiring the use of intermediaries, advocates and interpreters. Sabrina was also the senior case handler at voluntary advocacy service the Victoria Climbie Foundation UK.
Sabrina is also experienced in all areas of family law disputes and has represented clients in respect of non-molestation applications, child arrangement orders, relocation applications and special guardianship orders.
